I'm Dr. Allan R. Mosher I have recently retired as a Professor of Voice at Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music. I hold a bachelor's degree in theatre arts in addition to three degrees in music and have numerous theatrical roles to my credit. My past and current work include presenting portions of The Gospel According to Mark, the book of Ephesians, 2 Peter, 2 Timothy, and the first 3 and last 2 chapters of the book of Revelation. Throughout the years, I have performed in various churches in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa and Maryland.

I faithfully attend church at Cornersburg Baptist Church and am married to a wonderful soprano, Jennifer Jones Mosher. Together, we have three beautiful daughters. The idea of presenting dramatic Bible recitations originally came to me when reading an article. It gave me an overwhelming sensation that I could memorize the book and present it, given my theatrical leanings and training. I have since then given over 100 scripture presentations in the last 35 years, using memorized text from the 1611 King James Version.

My purpose for presenting dramatic recitations is twofold: to help people familiarize themselves with The Greatest Story Ever Told, while also experiencing the words of Scripture in an imaginative and memorable way. My prayer is that the Bible will come alive for the listeners. And in the future, I hope to impact more diverse audiences with my presentations, ultimately encouraging them to study the Bible more intently and excitedly.
